Widdle Sethy

Rhia held the shivering boy close to her. "You gonna be alright, son?" Head of black hair nodded. She smiled down to him and wrapped her coat tighter around him. "We'll find someplace to stay tomorrow, I promise. Romeo should be back soon, too."
"It's okay, mommy, I'm alright," the boy said through chattering teeth.
"Oh, Seth.."

Just then, a shadow dropped down in front of them. Rhia looked up and quickly shifted a hand to the gun at her hip, but upon realizing it was the very person she'd just spoken of, she relaxed. The black wings, which had been the shadow, spread out from the pale figure. Some say he looked like death himself, and they weren't far off.
"Find anything, Romeo?" Rhia asked, looking into the angel's face hopefully.

"Not much," he said as he moved over to them. It was a wonder he didn't freeze going around without a shirt. His wings were the key there. He knelt down in front of the two of them. Gently, he reached out to touch the boy's hair, pulling something from a "pocket" in his wing. "Here, boy."
Seth lifted his head from his mother's chest and turned to look at what was held out to him. A piece of bread and some cheese. His eyes would light up as he snatched the food from Romeo.
The angel smiled and ruffled the boy's hair. He then lifted his gaze to Rhia. "There wasn't enough-"
She only smiled. "It's fine. I'll manage another day."
He sighed. "Some guardian I am."
With a laugh, Rhia said "Don't start moping." She reached out to him, pulling him closer. He got the hint pretty quickly and sat down close in front of her. Seth, knowing the drill, curled up against Romeo, to let Rhia get closer. Those black wings then closed around them, the wind cut away, and the air soon warmed up. Within minutes, Rhia and Seth both fell asleep.
