Jason RAVVK5 (1:18:19 AM): ::a week or two would pass, the kids starting to adjust to not having the stranger around anymore - the little kids would miss her most, having quickly latched on to the thought of her as mommy. however, one morning, before the fog that plagued them every morning could completely pass, they'd be taken by surprise by a few uninvited guests. a group of 'real' pirates, adults looking for loot, rather than just stuff they could pick up from old abandoned places.. one of the look-outs would spot it as it was coming into harbour and quickly sound the alarm, but there'd be little to no time for them to prepare::
nelmorr13 (1:20:36 AM): ::as planned, all of the smaller children would head for the interior of the island, the older ones dealing with the defense. there were several cannons mounted on at opposite ends of the harbour. they would begin firing on the ship as other kids lay in wait for the crew.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:23:52 AM): ::they would find very quickly that they were going to be in for it - on either side of the ship were anchored three gattling guns, six in all. not to mention the canons, and the men on board with heavy fire-arms::::Nadia would be standing beside Dart, eyes wide as she saw those guns open fire on their coast. three were set on putting holes in all of their boats in port, while the other three went about taking out the cannons:: Dart..we have to get out of here..
nelmorr13 (1:26:20 AM): ::he glared out at the boat, giving a growl. he then turned to Nadia.:: Tell everyone to head for the emergency boat on the other side of the island. I'll hold these bastards off.
Jason RAVVK5 (1:31:30 AM): ::a frightened look fell over her face, reaching out to grab hold of him:: No. You're coming, too...Dart, you can't fight a whole band of pirates on your-!::they'd be interrupted by shouts from the other kids around them, some pointing towards the ship. there'd be shouts coming from there, too. looking a little to the right of the ship, they'd be able to see - and here - a speedboat. and, there at the wheel, was their stranger. she angled the approach so that when she left the boat, it would keep going without hitting the pirate ship or the island. and, just as she came near the ship, she'd leap up out of it, drawing a sabre strapped to her hip. some would be calling her insane for going up against all that artillery with just a sabre, but they'd shut up very quickly when the noticed three gattling guns missing after only about fifteen seconds. seemed the cold sleep had done little to her ability::
nelmorr13 (1:33:46 AM): ::he'd be amazed, watching silently for a moment before shaking himself out of it.:: Don't argue with me! Now go!! ::pushing her away, he turned looking up at that ship. he had to help her. he'd never forgive himself if she lost her life protecting them. once the kids were gone, he'd run down the dock before giving a powerful leap, he actually landing at the front of the ship.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:38:30 AM): ::she'd see him land, and straightened up with a gasp, mouth open as if about to say something, but she'd stop. she almost thought it was.. but it wasn't. she closed her mouth again, only to get whacked in the back with a piece of wood. she grunted and stumbled forward, only to leap at the man, lopping his head off. that was some sabre... she moved like the wind. a ferocious wind. he would see now another meaning to her name Typhoon::
nelmorr13 (1:41:49 AM): ::one pirate with a sabre would come towars Dart only to be seemingly lashed across the throat, he gripping his neck as he falls to the deck. jumping onto the main deck, his whip sings through the air as he begins lashing the pirates to ribbons as the Typhoon cuts them to pieces.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:47:12 AM): ::she'd keep her eye on him, making sure he didn't get himself killed. at one point, she'd disappear below deck for a minute or two. when she came back up, she was sprinting as fast as she could. she'd leap down to the main deck, grabbing Dart around the waist and lifting him up - even if she could speak, there wouldn't be time to tell him to get going, as she'd probably have to waste a second or two telling him why. she'd run for the front of the boat, hopping up onto the rail and leaping off towards the docks. while in the air, there'd be a loud, powerful explosion from inside the ship, the shock sending them over the docks and into a rough landing on shore::
nelmorr13 (1:51:34 AM): What the?! ::he'd be surprised as he was lifted up, for a moment thinking that maybe she was one of the pirates. looking down, he'd look back at the ship just in time to see it explode, he covering his face from the debris before they came to a rough landing. he'd give a groan as he sat up, looking out at the ship.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:56:54 AM): ::as she stood herself up, he'd finally be able to see her clearly - the fog, then confusion on the ship had made it difficult. she'd picked up quite a bit of new gear, including a duster that reached her ankles, some new clothes, a pair of sunglasses, and a pair of gloves. what couldn't be seen were all the weapons kept on herself. she'd had fun looting a few pirates who tried to take advantage of her in that rowboat... she'd watch the ship, and a few seconds after she'd stood, she'd lift her hand, faintest of grins on her face, snapping her fingers. and at that precise moment, another explosion would go off, completely ripping the ship in two::
nelmorr13 (1:58:36 AM): ::he continued to watch in amazement before looking up at her again. she'd completely saved their ass. he knew he could take out a good number of those pirates but also knew that eventually they'd have probably overwhelmed him just by sheer numbers.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:59:41 AM): ::her hand then shifted to pull off her sunglasses, pushing them up to the top of her head. she turned and looked down at him, offering him her hand. seems she'd adjusted to life in that age rather quickly...::
nelmorr13 (2:01:08 AM): ::taking her hand, he rose to his feet and dusted himself off. he then looked back up to her, offering a light smile.:: Thanks....we definitely owe you one.
