::the next day had gone well, her talks flawless as usual, as was the meeting with the Pope and other leaders who'd gathered at the Vatican. with the rest of the night to herself, she'd retreat to one of the gardens within the country known as the Vatican. she was still dressed in the nice clothes from the meeting - knee-length pale blue skirt with a white blouse that fit her well. she had rolled up her sleeves, one hand trailing in the water as she stared down at her reflection. grumbling, she splashed at it and turned round to rest her chin on her hand, elbow on her knee:: I feel like Relena Peacecraft..
nelmorr13 (1:21:43 AM): If that's the case, does that make me Heero Yuy? ::his face would appear in the water while he was standing above her. that ever present smirk is on his face yet again.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:23:24 AM): That's assuming I love you. ::the words were quiet, she looking off to the side, not even daring to look up at him, afraid of how she'd feel. she wished this blasted campaign were over...she wished humans could take care of themselves even more so that her task as the Negotiator would be obsolete...::
nelmorr13 (1:27:15 AM): Well I dunno. If I recall correctly, the two were essentially polar opposites when the story began. We still have to see how the story plays out. ::he sat down next to her calmly.:: How is the Pope's health?
Jason RAVVK5 (1:29:13 AM): ::she let out a soft sigh as he spoke. at his question, she'd look down at her lap, drying her hand off on her skirt:: He's doing alright. They think he'll live another five, maybe even ten years. Not very surprising, I guess. He seems alive enough.
nelmorr13 (1:34:11 AM): Hmmm. I suppose that's a good thing. Which city is the next stop on your little trip? ::he casually looks around the garden that the two of them are sitting in before turning his attention back to her to hear her answer.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:36:24 AM): Berlin. ::she lifted her gaze to look out over the garden, watching a songbird perch itself on a bush and chirp to its mate across the way on the garden wall. it brought a light smile to her lips::
nelmorr13 (1:37:56 AM): Canary. ::of course talking about the type of a bird it was. the interesting thing was he wasn't looking at it, his attention on one of the domes in view.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:40:10 AM): ::her brow lifted some, looking over at him. and as she did, faint blush found her cheeks as her stomach fluttered. but she found she couldn't look away. she swallowed uneasily:: Have you the song of all birds memorized, prince? ::from anyone else in their condition, it might be supposed that she was teasing him with the name. but the way she said it...it sounded almost natural..::
nelmorr13 (1:41:27 AM): Eh, most. A silly hobby of mine when I was a child. I used to think that birds were magical because they were the only animals I saw that could fly.
Jason RAVVK5 (1:42:09 AM): ::a smile would lift on her lips, soon giggling a bit, looking away as a hand lifted up over her mouth::

Jason RAVVK5 (1:44:39 AM): ::she let her hand drift back down to her lap, smiling brightly as she watched those birds:: Oh, I'm just trying to imagine you as a little boy watching the "magickal birdies".
nelmorr13 (1:45:44 AM): Just imagine me smaller and cuter. Of course, we're talking little kid cute. You don't get much cuter than this. ::he gives her a smirk.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:46:47 AM): ::she rolled her eyes as she got to her feet, patting the dust and dirt off her rear:: Of course not, J-chan. ::-now- she was teasing::
nelmorr13 (1:49:12 AM): ::he gives a laugh at that, before rising to his feet and folding his arms over his chest.:: So, what're your plans for dinner?
Jason RAVVK5 (1:50:46 AM): Meeting Haru and heading to the restaurant inside the Vatican. Won't have to worry about press or big crowds. ::she stretched some, trying to make her back feel better::
nelmorr13 (1:53:50 AM): ::noticing that, he walked behind her and suddenly wrapped his arms around her. before she could say anything, he lifted up and bent his back. the angle and bending of her back would cause a ring of snaps to go down her spine.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:56:34 AM): ::she let out a bit of a yelp, more from surprise than from pain, as it actually felt rather good. when he set her back down, she wouldn't move to get away from him, head turned a bit to the side, speaking over her shoulder to him, her voice once again quiet. she sounded...lost. confused, maybe:: Do you always do so many favors in order to get what you want, prince?
nelmorr13 (1:57:53 AM): I don't do favors. I give what I think is an even exchange. ::a rather slick way of saying he'd do anything for her, he smiling casually down at her. his arms hadn't unwrapped from her just yet, just wrapped loosely around her.::
Jason RAVVK5 (1:59:46 AM): ::well..she hadn't expected that answer. another uneasy gulp, finding herself unable - or rather, unwilling - to move away from him. maybe it was just the ache and lonliness of not having Li around..or perhaps... no..it just..it couldn't be...::
nelmorr13 (2:00:55 AM): ::since she didn't move out of his arms, he'd slowly lean his head down, not kissing her or even touching her with his lips. it was just the added closeness he was after...to smell the scent of her hair and skin.::
Jason RAVVK5 (2:02:55 AM): ::her eyes slowly drifted shut. her left hand lifted to rest against his arm, her fingers soft, uncalloused. she definitely had never pursued fighting in her life::
nelmorr13 (2:07:15 AM): ::his hands would gently stroke her arms before slowly lowering his head a little further. she would be able to feel the soft caress of his breath on the smooth skin of her neck.::
Jason RAVVK5 (2:10:29 AM): ::her breath shuddered some, mouth drifting open a bit as she trembled in his grasp. she really was terrified...and however many things she attributed the fear to, it all had one thing in common - him. terrified of him because he could make her feel this way, terrified of him because she couldn't stop thinking about him, terrified because her desire to be with him was beginning to overpower her love for Li::
nelmorr13 (2:13:36 AM): ::he would take his time, drawing out the moment for as long as he felt he could before his lips finally came in contact with where her neck comes in contact with her shoulder.::
Jason RAVVK5 (2:15:23 AM): ::the moment his lips touched her skin, a tear would drift down her cheek, falling and hitting his ear, speaking in a whimper:: Li... ::her eyes drifted open to stare up at the sky:: Let go of me..why are you doing this?
nelmorr13 (2:16:45 AM): ::he whispered back into her ear in that smooth, seductive tone.:: Why are you fighting it? ::his arms tighten around her, pulling her against his body. it is apparent that he isn't exactly scrawny under those clothes.::
Jason RAVVK5 (2:18:01 AM): ::a shudder ran through her, she closing her eyes tightly, now trying to pull free from him:: Because. I love Li. I could never hurt him...
nelmorr13 (2:21:38 AM): Who says he has to know? ::holding her firmly, not letting her go just yet.::
Jason RAVVK5 (2:22:54 AM): ::her brow furrowed, fighting harder now to get free:: It's not about whether or not he knows.. I'd know, and that's enough.. I won't let you ruin what I've got... Take your hands off of me.
nelmorr13 (2:24:27 AM): ::he opened his arms, allowing her to walk free.:: Very well, Zelda. I will not hold you against your will.
Jason RAVVK5 (2:27:10 AM): ::she let out a relieved sigh as she pulled away from him, turning to face him as she continued to back-up, arms curled around her stomach:: Please...just leave me alone... I don't need this.. ::she turned back around and started to head back inside::
nelmorr13 (2:29:18 AM): ::hands placed calmly behind his back, he gives her a light smile.:: I will see what I can do. I make no guarantees though. Goodbye, Zelda. ::and he is gone in a pillar of flames, how long is yet to be seen.::
